ACRO YOGA FAQ

Do I need to have a partner to join a class?

No, you don't have to bring a partner to join a class. We mix the groups in every class so everyone gets a chance to work with different people. That being said, if do join with someone and prefer to work together, that's ok too.

 

Can I do Acro Yoga if I have never done Yoga before?

Absolutely! You don't need to have any prior experience to learn Acro Yoga. Come as you are, and explore your potential.

 

What should I wear and bring to practice Acro Yoga?

Bring a bottle of water, and wear flexible, non baggy clothing which will be comfortable for moving around in. You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, but we have some provided as well.

 

I can't touch my toes and I'm not really fit, can I still do Acro Yoga?

Yes, you can. We have lots of skills that you can learn. And the best part is, practicing Acro Yoga will help you get flexible and fit! Come as you are, we've got something for everyone.

 

Do you have any Acro Yoga classes just for kids?

Currently, we do not offer classes just for kids. This is because practicing Acro Yoga requires slow movements, focus and spacial awareness that we find children learn and embody at very different ages. For the safety and enjoyment of all, we have found that combining adults with children in a class together brings out the best for everyone.
